We are looking for a creative social media intern to work in our Sales and Marketing department. The intern will be responsible for planning social media calendars, creating social media posts, and assisting the marketing team with brainstorming campaigns.
Job Qualifications:
Education: The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Ideally, the candidate will be a 3rd/4th year college student or beyond.
Experience: One year of work experience is preferred.
Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms.
- Knowledge of analytical tools.
- Creative mindset.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work in a team.
- A degree in Communication or a related field.
- Prior experience with marketing or social media.
- Managing the social media calendar.
- Brainstorming campaign ideas.
- Posting on various social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Requires a minimum of two (2) weekly postings on each platform.
- Analyzing analytics to gauge the success of campaigns.
- Ability to work onsite for 15 hours per week.
Physical and Mental Efforts:
General: The position requires concentrating on details with occasional interruption and attending to tasks for 45 to 60 minutes. It also requires the ability to prioritize given shifting priorities and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Environmental and Working Conditions:
The position requires the ability to concentrate on fine detail with some interruptions and attend to tasks for 45 to 60 minutes at a time.
Occasional exposure to dust and fumes in an industrial setting.
