What You'll Do
The Social Media Specialist, Apparel at ANDMORE is responsible for creating, executing, and optimizing social media strategies tailored to our Apparel markets, including Atlanta Apparel, Las Vegas Apparel, and Formal Markets. This role is critical in elevating brand awareness, driving engagement, and building a dynamic social media presence across various platforms. Working cross-functionally with our content, digital, and PR teams, the Specialist will develop and curate engaging content, manage social media campaigns, and ensure alignment with ANDMORE's overall marketing objectives. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with strong writing skills and a passion for the apparel and fashion industry.
Position Responsibilities
* Social Media Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for the Gift & Home sector, including both organic and paid content that aligns with brand goals and engages target audiences.
* Content Creation & Curation: Create, schedule, and manage high-quality content for social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Tailor content to various stages of the marketing funnel, from awareness to conversion.
* Community Management: Oversee community engagement across all platforms, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner to foster an engaged and loyal audience.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the editorial, PR, and digital marketing teams to align social content with broader marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging across digital, print, and experiential platforms.
* Influencer & Partnership Engagement: Collaborate with influencers and key partners in the Apparel industry to extend reach, create sponsored content, and drive engagement through authentic storytelling.
* Campaign Analytics & Optimization: Track and analyze social media performance metrics, presenting key insights and recommendations to enhance reach, engagement, and ROI. Adjust campaigns based on performance to maximize results.
* Cross-Promotional Initiatives: Support cross-promotional opportunities with designers, buyers, and other key industry partners to increase brand visibility and engagement.
* Platform & Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, ensuring ANDMORE's Gift & Home presence remains current and competitive. Monitor competitor activity to identify opportunities for differentiation.
* Content Management: Collaborate with the content and digital teams to maintain a cohesive content calendar that reflects ANDMORE's strategic priorities across social media, ensuring timely and relevant posts.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, ideally within the events, retail, apparel, or fashion industries.
* Strong understanding of social media platforms, audiences, and tools for scheduling and analytics (e.g., Sprout Social, Later).
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for visual storytelling.
* Proven track record of executing successful social media campaigns with measurable results.
* Familiarity with photo and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere Rush, CapCut).
* Team-oriented mindset with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects with precision and creativity.
* Availability to travel to markets as needed to support social media coverage.
