SUMMARYWorks with the Digital Marketing and Public Relations teams to support the company's marketing goals and objectives by assisting with social media and related online efforts. Excels in written and verbal communication and demonstrates NOW product and industry knowledge to develop content and effectively use multiple social media platforms. Engages with social community and facilitates conversations daily to grow follower base and increase engagement across multiple channels (including TikTok and other emerging platforms).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Executes the day-to-day social media strategy, including scheduling, posting and community management on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, X, LinkedIn, You Tube, TikTok and other emerging platforms.Drafts social media content, coordinating graphics with in-house designers as needed, that is accurate, engaging, approachable, on trend, and meets the high standards and consistent brand image of the company.Collaborates with larger Marketing team and brand managers to populate social content calendar that aligns with brand messaging, promotions, and marketing campaigns.Monitors and manages communications to foster meaningful relationships with customers, influencers, and partners. Collaborates with internal resources to provide answers when appropriate that require scientific, legal, or regulatory compliance. Responds to direct messages in a timely and courteous fashion with pre-approved messaging.Utilizes social media management platform to organize and schedule pre-approved content, build campaign boards, and populate Instagram galleries for NOW's website.Analyzes performance data from native and third-party platforms for reporting. Provides insights and recommendations for optimizing social strategies.Monitors social trends and provides insights on emerging platforms for opportunities for social growth.Makes recommendations, obtains approval, and implements enhancements and modifications to company's owned social media properties and website as needed. Keeps security top of mind. Employs online security best practices and escalates any concerns to supervisors and IT. Applies any additional security measures as they become available.Understands the mechanics of Search Engine Optimization to research and write SEO-friendly social and video content.Stays up-to-date on industry and category trends.Complies with safety and GMP requirements.SAFETY STATEMENT RESPONSIBILITYSupports a culture of safe production and operations; follows all safety rules and procedures.Actively participates in the safety program by: engaging in training activities to learn what constitutes a safety hazard; reporting safety concerns to the supervisor, submitting safety suggestions, and correcting or reporting to the appropriate people when an employee sees a workplace health or safety hazard, until it is resolved.Assists with communicating safety information to new employees.Fulfills responsibilities as outlined in the company safety management plan.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR TECHNICAL SKILLSBachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field and three to five years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, social media or in a related area required.Digitally savvy. Excellent knowledge of social media technologies and protocols in a corporate setting, and websites, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, and TikTok. Comprehensive experience with all aspects of social content research, authoring, and publishing. Good understanding of communications and marketing principles. Working knowledge of third-party social media publishing/reporting tools, including Dash Hudson or equivalent.Familiarity with Adobe suite, Illustrator, Canva or equivalent preferred to facilitate web graphics, videos and TikToks.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, websites, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and web-based content.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, sales team, QA department, clients, customers, and the general public.REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
