We're seeking a creative and qualified Social Media Specialist to elevate the Fire-Dex and Gear Wash brands. This person will develop and implement strategies to manage all social channels, drive growth and engagement, create compelling content, optimize company pages, and analyze performance metrics. Collaborating with the marketing team, you'll support campaigns and product launches while staying current on social media trends and best practices.
This is a hybrid position with two days in the office at our headquarters in Medina, Ohio and ability to work from home the remaining days of the work week.
Responsibilities include:
* Manage Fire-Dex and Gear Wash social channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, by utilizing paid and organic content
* Enhance our brand presence and drive growth through targeted social media strategies
* Responsible for generating, editing, and publishing social media content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
* Create social ad strategy for channels
* Build an audience and ensure customer engagement
* Optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company's social content
* Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
* Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
* Deliver best-in-class social customer engagement experience by monitoring and actively engaging with followers' questions and comments in a timely manner
* Adopt, maintain, and apply the brand tone and voice to social tactics in collaboration with copywriters to build, foster, and grow brand's online presence and build brand awareness
* Support the marketing team in setting up and activating marketing campaigns, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Proactively monitor and stay up to date with developments and trends across all social media platforms, incorporating relevant insights into campaign strategies and recommendations
* Assist with local event planning as needed
* Manage marketing supply program including managing internal e-store, stocking marketing closet with swag, apparel, giveaway items, and handling other requests as needed
Candidates should possess the following:
* Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required
* Two to four years of professional social media management
* Experience with paid social a must
* HubSpot experience is a plus
* Adobe experience is a plus
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
* Strong communication skills - ability to communicate with all levels inside and outside of the organization, including verbal, electronic and written
* Ability to work in teams as well as possess self-accountability
* Efficient with prioritizing and multi-tasking, including being productive while handling re-directions and interruptions based upon business needs
* Possess a high attention to detail
* Ability to remain organized with and keep track of multiple sources of information and data
* Ability to travel an average of 5-10% a year for strategy meetings, trainings, or events
* Possess strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
* Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
