Nature of Work:
Organize, develop and execute Major League Fishing's social media strategy, from ideating/building multimedia content, publishing across MLF and MLF5 social platforms, and assessing the performance of social content in an effort to increase MLF brand awareness and increase social engagement on all channels.

Examples of work performed:
- Ideate, capture, create, publish and track the performance of social media content
- Primary social platforms will include Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, Threads and Snapchat
- Cover and promote events, sponsored assets, sales/marketing initiatives and competitors
- Schedule and publish sponsored posts provided by MLF and MLF5 sponsors
- Produce and manage livestreaming content on the appropriate social platforms
- Fan interaction: Manage and respond to public and private questions and comments
- Compile and organize social media analytics
- Travel to some MLF events to create content (videos, photos, etc.) for social media

- Working hours will fluctuate; will include early mornings and frequent weekends

Qualifications:
- Minimum
- BS/BA degree in field or related field
- High School or GED
- 3-5 years experience in field
- High-level proficiency and experience with social-media apps and scheduling tools
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud apps
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire
- Preferred
- Knowledge of tournament bass fishing is strongly preferred
- Video and photo-editing experience preferred, not required
- Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and meet company vehicle driving standards
