Job Summary
Cirrus Aircraft is looking for a motivated media professional to work in a dynamic production environment to support the production of static 3D product visualizations, engaging animated videos as well as other digital media and video for use in sales, promotional and technical training applications for Cirrus.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
The applicant should expect to work creatively on content areas focused in marketing and technical subjects specific to the aerospace industry with the following functional expectations:
- Regular, reliable, and predictable in-person attendance at the Cirrus Studio.
- Work primarily as a 3D graphic artist supporting the setup, modeling, rigging, texturing and rendering of various 3D models to support static and animated 3D image rendering.
- Secondarily, support the Media Team’s need for post production media work including 2D, 2.5D and 3D motion graphics output as well as video editing tasks for various marketing and training video products.
- Convert text and graphical storyboards into high-end 3D renderings.
- Work with multiple clients simultaneously to achieve desired deliverables.
- Collaborate with Cirrus engineering and design teams to convert and prepare various CAD formats for use in 3D rendering applications.
- Unwavering commitment to produce creative, show-stopping deliverables, balanced with the practical planning ability to adjust processes as necessary to meet deadlines and work within normal business constraints.
- Occasional travel is possible.
- Work occasional off-hours and weekends as needed to meet deadlines.
- Be comfortable working in and around small aircraft.
Qualifications

· Preferred 2 or 4 year college media arts-related degree.
· 5 or more years practical experience in a 3D graphics-based role.
· Expert-level 3D modeling, animating, texturing and rendering for commercial products, as well as motion graphics skills, as demonstrated in a work reel that must be attached to this application as either a link or uploaded video file. Applications without a referenced reel and/or design portfolio will not be considered.
· Expert knowledge of modern computer, software and production technologies and workflows.
· Fluent with the following software applications:
o Mac OS (Required)
o Apple iOS
o Maxon Cinema 4D or equivalent (Maya, Keyshot, Unreal, 3DS Max, ZBrush, Modo, Blender, Rhino)
o Apple Final Cut X (Or willing to learn)
o Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator (Required)
o Adobe After Effects (Required)
· Experience with multi-node rendering across a distributed local or remote environment.
· Experience with interactive development and/or digital book authoring is a plus.
· Some experience in aviation is a plus.
· Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
· Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time.
