We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary/Middle School Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators. Responsibilities:
  1. Curriculum Development: Create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards. Adapt lessons to accommodate the diverse learning needs of students.
  2. Classroom Management: Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn. Effectively manage classroom behavior and create a culture of mutual respect.
  3. Instruction: Deliver engaging and interactive instruction that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and active participation. Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles.
  4. Assessment and Feedback: Assess student progress regularly using various assessment tools and techniques. Provide constructive feedback to students and parents to help students improve their academic performance.
  5. Differentiated Instruction: Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with individualized education plans (IEPs) and English language learners (ELLs).
  6. Parent and Community Engagement: Maintain open communication with parents and guardians through regular updates, conferences, and feedback sessions. Collaborate with the school community to create a supportive learning environment.
  7. Professional Development: Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and stay updated on best practices in education. Participate in school-wide professional development activities.
  8. Classroom Resources: Manage classroom materials, resources, and technology effectively, ensuring a conducive learning environment for students.
  9. Safety and Compliance: Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times. Adhere to school policies and procedures, including emergency protocols.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • State teaching certification or licensure (if applicable).
  • Previous teaching experience in an elementary or middle school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional methods, and classroom management techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.
