The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting icons, global brands, and emerging talents through strategic intellectual property management and negotiation. Location Los Angeles, CA Duties Review and coordinate preparation of comments for third-party participant agreements related to music compositions and recordings Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including producer, mixer, featured artist, songwriter, and certificates of recording Collaborate with other attorneys, consultants, and professionals on intellectual property matters Develop and apply strategic thinking in the areas of music rights, copyright law, and entertainment agreements Requirements Basic experience or demonstrated interest in the music industry or related fields (e.g., corporate law or intellectual property) Strong initiative and a proactive approach to solving problems and seizing opportunities Commitment to excellence in client service and legal work Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Certifications Bar membership in good standing or pending bar results in the jurisdiction of practice Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Effective negotiation and contract drafting abilities Critical thinking and attention to detail, with a broader perspective on the industry landscape Openness to learning and adapting within a dynamic field Company info #J-18808-Ljbffr
