The Visual Arts Program in the Department of Visual & Performing Arts at South Carolina State University seeks a full-time, tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Music -Music Industry. Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teaching, creative work, and service to the department, school, and university community.
- Teaching responsibilities include courses in music technology, commercial composition/arranging, recording studio techniques, and supervision of the required internship program.
- Other courses assigned by the department may include performance instruction, aural skills, or classes depending on the candidate's qualifications and needs of the department
Minimum Requirements for Entry into Position:
- Master's degree in music; significant professional experience working in commercial music; commitment to excellence in teaching.
