The Printer/Copier Service Technician position is responsible for service, maintenance, and network installation on document imaging equipment (multi-function printers) in the Newport News, Virginia area.

The Printer/Copier Service Technician position is responsible for service, maintenance, and network installation on document imaging equipment (multi-function printers) in the Newport News, Virginia area.
Responsibilities:
- Provide routine maintenance, troubleshooting & repair of copiers, printers, scanners & fax machines.
- Perform network installation of copiers, printers & scanners, working with our customers IT support to load print drivers & setup scan to email/folders/SMB.
- Diagnosis & troubleshooting of network related printing & scanning issues.
- Setup & installation of new copiers & printers.
- Provide excellent customer service & support to our valued customers.
- Maintain an updated & complete car stock as well as updated service-related manuals & tools.
- Effective time/schedule management & prioritization of service requests.
- Adhere to all company policies, service procedures and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong aptitude in analyzing mechanical movements and electrical components.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows/PC & MAC operating systems.
- Detail oriented including excellent time management skills.
- Excellent driving record. Motor Vehicle Report required for the selected candidate.
- High School diploma, college degree or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and reliable.
- Strong desire to continue learning about new industry technologies & equipment.
- Microsoft certifications or COMPTIA certifications are a plus.
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
