School Psychologist

ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join one of our trusted school districts located in beautiful Newport News, Virginia. As a School Psychologist in this role, you will provide direct therapy to support student well-being while contributing to the completion of assessments and management of IEPs. Further, you will help createa positive and supportive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds. This role is ideal for a compassionate professional with a deep understanding of child development, mental health, and educational psychology.

Job Description

• Full time
• M-F
• 7:45am-4:30pm with 1 hour lunch
• 2-3 school sites to service
• Number of students per caseload will vary
• An in-person candidate is preferred, but will consider remote work for evaluations
• There will be a range of age groups in need of psychological services, but district will work to match with desired age group
• K-12
• Standard duties: mixture of assessments/IEP management and direct therapy
  • Secondary caseload will need some dismissals and elementary will need some initials

Job Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate'slevel degree in School Psychology or Educational Psychology
• Virginia School Psychologist Licensure
• Reliable transportation
• School experience
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
