Qualis Corporation is currently seeking a skilled Radio Frequency (RF) Signal Processing Engineer to join the Advanced Technologies Group in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing signal processing algorithms at the embedded and FPGA level to support various projects and programs. You will work closely with a diverse team of engineers, scientists, and researchers to design and optimize signal processing systems for a wide range of applications.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement signal processing algorithms for data analysis, interpretation, and real time operation.
- Optimize signal processing systems for improved performance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate signal processing algorithms into larger systems.
- Conduct testing and validation of signal processing systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in signal processing techniques.
- Identify, define, and execute verification and validation methods for system requirements.
- Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.
- Define technical analysis methods, conduct independent research, and present findings.
- Assist in preparing test documentation for inclusion in test and evaluation reports.
- Conduct investigations, analysis, and tests of considerable complexity.
- Perform failure analysis and develop coarse of actions.
- Develop and present technical white papers and executive level briefings.
- Assist in development of program technical approach and technical roadmap.
- Assist in development of technical program plans, identify technical milestones, and ensure progress against the technical objectives.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's of Science (BS) Degree in a Systems, Electrical, Computer, Software, Aerospace, Aeronautical Engineering or another STEM program from an ABET accredited university.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in signal processing algorithm development, test, and evaluation.
- Strong background in signal processing, including experience with algorithms, filters, and transformations.
- Knowledge of digital signal processing techniques and their applications.
- Candidate must posses a clear understanding of engineering principles such as but not limited to Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), RF communications, measurement and estimation techniques, and error correction theory and implementation.
- Candidate must be proficient in MATLAB or Python, C/C++, and VHDL or Verilog.
- Candidate must have experience with hardware implementation of signal processing algorithms.
- Candidate must have the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Candidate must have or have the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
- Candidate must be located in or willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL.
- Possess excellent time-management skills to contribute to multiple tasks concurrently.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Possess excellent presentation skills.
