THE GIG

Working closely with the Director, Digital Marketing, this role is responsible for planning/strategy, execution, and reporting of SEO, Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic Display/Video full funnel marketing efforts for the US and Canada markets.

  • Oversee one direct report, providing them with guidance and the building blocks to succeed in their role alongside building the US and Canada strategies for those channels.
  • Work closely with the Global SEO Specialist, to drive organic strategy for growth, while maintaining a balance with Paid Search in a symbiotic fashion. This includes, but is not limited to technical audits, keyword research, outreach efforts, metadata and site copy updates, content consolidation efforts, etc...
  • Oversee day-to-day paid search agency relationship(s) and monitor to ensure maximum output is being achieved through our partnerships.
  • Closely monitor media budget and spend pacing throughout each period, quarter, and year to ensure budgets are not exceeded.
  • Leverage feed optimization tools and implement strategies to enhance paid media efforts.
  • Analyze channel performance and provide interpretation and appropriate action plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with e-commerce merchandising, brand marketing, and other digital marketing team members on upcoming promotions, new categories/product, and brand campaigns.
  • Inform annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasting of anticipated media spend, site traffic, demand, ROAS, and CAC.
  • Support strategy and scoping of relevant projects such as agency evaluation and RFP processes.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and strategies as well as provide senior-level support around competitive presence, strategies and tactical execution.

  • 6+ years of experience managing paid search, paid social, display and video campaigns in META, Google and Microsoft Ads at an agency or in-house with large media budgets and meeting/exceeding monthly performance metrics (hands-on experience with programmatic/display as well as TikTok campaign builds a plus).
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort using Excel to analyze campaign performance on a weekly basis (experience using Supermetrics, Power BI, Looker Studio or other dashboard building tools a plus).
  • Fluency in Google Analytics 4 (or equivalent analytics platform), Google Search Console, Adwords, Bing Ads, and Meta (other ad engines a plus).
  • Strong analytical, communication, leadership and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects and departments.
  • Strong ability to effectively collaborate with multiple business units, leadership and vendors to achieve organizational goals.
  • Highly organized with proven expertise managing complex projects simultaneously in a multi-channel marketing environment.
