YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT
Venn is seeking a talented and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. We're looking for someone who can elevate our user experience across all platforms and drive our product's success through user-centered design. As our Senior UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional user experiences across desktop, mobile, and web platforms. You'll play a crucial role in shaping our product's interface and interactions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of usability, accessibility, and user satisfaction.
This role can either be fully remote in the US or hybrid (2 days/week) in our New York, NY headquarters.
What You Will Do:
Manage the End-to-End User Journey
- Map and refine the user experience across all touchpoints (desktop, mobile, and web)
- Ensure a seamless and consistent experience across all platforms
- Identify and address user pain points
- Design for optimal usability, accessibility, and user satisfaction
Ensure Cross-Platform Consistency
- Maintain intuitive and consistent key user flows, design elements, and functionalities across desktop, mobile, and web interfaces
- Develop and enforce design guidelines to ensure coherence across all platforms
Lead User-Centered Design & Research
- Lead UX research efforts, gathering insights from our diverse user base
- Conduct usability testing and collect user feedback
- Iterate designs based on research findings and user needs
- Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the organization
Collaborate with Product & Engineering
- Work closely with product management, engineering teams, and other stakeholders
- Ensure UX is prioritized throughout the product development lifecycle
- Balance user experience with business goals and technical feasibility
- Communicate design decisions and rationales effectively to cross-functional teams
What You Will Bring:
- 6+ years of progressive experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, User Experience Design, or related field; Master’s degree and/or certifications a plus
- Proven experience designing for multiple platforms (desktop, mobile, and web)
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and analyzing results
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
- A product management mindset with a laser focus on UX design
- Strategic thinking and the ability to align UX goals with business objectives
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn in a rapidly evolving tech landscape
- Strong analytical skills to make data-driven design decisions

Estimated base salary: $100,000 - $125,000 USD/year
Estimated bonus: $10,000 - $25,000 USD/year
Total compensation dependent upon experience
