User Experience Designer at Cardinal Health in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description What Digital Marketing & eCommerce contributes to Cardinal Health Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services. This function creates strategies for the portfolio and innovative solutions based on relationships with business leaders to improve the front-end experience. Digital Marketing & eCommerce is responsible for developing and driving digital marketing campaigns and strategies that meet and/or exceed business objectives and provide additional insight about our customers across all digital channels while making it easy for a user and/or customer to accomplish their intended task(s) and deliver a high-level of customer satisfaction when engaging with the company online. Job Summary The User Experience (UX) Designer plays an integral role to lead the onsite customer experience strategy and implementation for Edgepark for both our B2C and B2B customers. In this multi-faceted role, the UX designer defines the form and function of the web, desktop, and mobile applications. The candidate must be results-oriented, capable of executing plans despite challenges. Cross-functional collaboration is a must, especially with development, product management, marketing, and commercial teams. Responsibilities + Leads the design for new experiences and improvements of existing experiences. + Quickly iterates on multiple interactive design solutions and work through details. + Advocates for design solutions, highlighting inputs that influenced the decisions including business and user goals, demographic and usage data, and research findings. + Develops high level, detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. + Conducts testing of applications, websites, and other technologies to assess user experience and design, and ensure compliance. + Builds storyboards to conceptualize designs and accurately convey project plans to all stakeholders. + Creates standard work processes for customer research through various strategies and platforms to gather voice of the customer and ensure ease of use on all stores. + Applies creativity and expertise to design for future-state, high-level platform strategy. + Delivers work that's not only user-friendly, aesthetically engaging, but which also produces results. + Works alongside engineers and product managers throughout all stages of the production cycle. + Develops and maintains detailed user-interface specifications. + Presents design work to multiple teams and senior leadership for review and feedback. Qualifications + 5+ years of experience in product or user experience design preferred + Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred + 2+ years of experience designing and prototyping responsive web, digital products or applications preferred + Formal education and/or training certifications preferred + Domain expertise in the healthcare industry, a plus + Strong foundational understanding of user experience best practices in transaction-oriented applications + Proven experience with user-centered design processes based on data analysis + Practical understanding of the technologies used to build rich eCommerce applications + Strong communication skills to persuade and collect buy-in from stakeholders at all levels, while also accepting input What is expected of you and others at this level + Lifelong learner to stay up to date on all new user experience and design trends and the ability to translate to our use-cases + Proficient in visual design and storyboarding programs, like Figma + Capable of multi-tasking and balancing short-term projects while keeping long-term strategic goals in mind + Continuously challenge the status quo to thoughtfully drive towards the optimal user experience + Leads UX-centered opportunities across enterprise and project teams; working collaboratively to synthesize inputs and effectively communicate both early-stage and refined UX early concepts + Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects + May contribute to the development of policies and procedures + Works on complex projects of large scope + Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems + Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives + Completes work; independently receives general guidance on new projects + Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives + May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues Anticipated salary range: $$78,500 - $112,100 Bonus eligible: No Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being. + Medical, dental and vision coverage + Paid time off plan + Health savings account (HSA) + 401k savings plan + Access to wages before pay day with myFlexPay + Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) + Short- and long-term disability coverage + Work-Life resources + Paid parental leave + Healthy lifestyle programs Application window anticipated to close: 08/12/2024 if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.
