Description We are looking for a creative, strategic thinker to join the Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team as a Manager, User Experience + Creative. You will build and lead a team, defining and protecting the overarching GREF brand, inclusive of creative strategy, tone, style, and graphics across all medium and channels GREF uses to communicate internally (GREF) and to all Amazonians. This requires close coordination with GREF Communications and other functional verticals, as well as partner orgs. This role is focused on transformation, shifting culture and changing behavior. This includes developing multi-modal change campaigns, developing creative infrastructure, creating content for presentations, supporting executive communications and messaging with creative assets. We are looking for someone who is a connector of ideas and has the passion, energy and creative ambition to tell the story of GREF and drive change across Amazon’s broad and diverse workforce. Key job responsibilities Lead overall global creative development, direction and management of the GREF brand, including creation of briefs, timelines, and assets. Build ad type of campaigns, experimenting in a variety of ways to communicate GREF’s voice to our customers- understanding the customer journey, what they need to know as our partners and how to engage them in a creative, fun, respectful and truthful way. Spark big ideas that drive customer engagement and enhance the corporate office experience. Develop the tone and texture of the GREF voice so the organization is speaking as one, whether it is through an email, all hands meeting, PSA campaign or change management. Lead consistent alignment and delivery of that voice. Present to senior leadership regularly to update on key brand engagement metrics, and best-in-class and leading edge approaches. Work collaboratively with various internal and external cross-functional stakeholders, including design, executive communications, internal corporate communications, public relations, partner communications and brand teams, to ensure overall global success. Align closely with GREF internal research and Customer Experience teams to incorporate customer insight studies and track the customer journey into the GREF Brand. Build templates and frameworks for delivering persuasive communications that are both analytically convincing and emotionally compelling. Provide creative direction and feedback to internal creative and external agency teams to ensure all elements are on brand and aligned with campaign and brand strategy. Independently manage concurrent projects, from conception through delivery, maintaining high standards of quality, flexibility and timeliness. Benchmark and evaluate the strategies, continuously seeking improvement. Design, optimize and deliver useful and elegant best-in-class creative experiences – videos, visual campaigns, signage, all hands presentations etc Act as a leader and “catalyst” who inspires others to deliver bar-raising, best-in-class ideas and creative assets at a global scale. Basic Qualifications 6+ years of design experience 3+ years of leading design teams experience Experience managing teams Experience with a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, Axure, and Dreamweaver Preferred Qualifications Experience working cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from product management, engineering, testing, and marketing Experience with agile/scrum Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
