Affiliate Video Assistant
Department: Player Development
Reports To: Video Coordinator
Job Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

The Affiliate Video Assistant will serve as a key member of our Player Development team, responsible for overseeing video and data collection, as well as managing travel logistics and administrative duties for their assigned affiliate.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Chart, manage, and distribute all game and practice video and data for their assigned affiliate.
- Assist with Major League and Minor League video and data collection during Spring Training.
- Coordinate all aspects of break camp travel and itinerary for players and staff going to their assigned affiliate.
- Manage all aspects of affiliate travel and admin duties including flights, hotel reservations, and bus schedules.
- Work in conjunction with coaches and analysts to assist with advance scouting reports prior to each series and game.
- Capture and upload non-game video including bullpens, batting practice, defensive drills, etc.
- Oversee all high-speed video capture and upload processes for games and practices.
- Manage Trackman and HawkEye operations and workflow at assigned affiliate.
- Assist Amateur, International, and Pro Scouting departments with miscellaneous video needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience charting games with BATS is preferred.
- Previous experience in a professional baseball clubhouse is preferred.
- Deep understanding of baseball rules and how to score a baseball game.
- Ability to accurately identify pitch types.
- Previous Experience with baseball technologies such as Trackman, Edgertronics, KinaTrax, HawkEye, etc. is preferred.
- Available to work long hours, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to carry heavy equipment, climb stairs, and set up cameras around a stadium setting.
