What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience overseeing large meetings with A/V needs using video conferencing platforms - Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, BlueJeans, GoToMeeting and other video conferencing tools
  • 3+ years of experience troubleshooting video endpoints in enterprise IP networks
  • Experience with Polycom/Cisco systems design, implementations, support, and monitoring
  • Experience designing Video rooms for conferencing including video system, sound structure, and content sharing
  • Knowledge of configuring Zoom, WebEx, Teams, GoToMeeting, Skype, etc. in an enterprise environment
  • Experience managing and configuring Poly Infrastructure, (VMRs, DMA, RMX WFS)
  • Experience managing and configuring Poly endpoints, (phones, video codec, Group series, G75, X-studio)
  • Familiarity with Poly RealPresence platform and admin tools
  • Experience with cloud-based services – Pexip, Poly SIP deployments and control systems preferably Crestron

We’d Love to See:

  • Understanding of unified communications including RealPresence, unified messaging, web-conferencing, and Video Conferencing preferred

Impact You'll Make:

  • Provide subject matter expertise to maintain the appropriate lifecycle for the technologies in scope, including technology risk, refresh, migration, and retirement.
  • Analyze system performance, modifying parameters to improve throughput and effectively utilize system resources.
  • Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external strategic partners as well as critical IT infrastructure service providers. With administrative direction, leads the evaluation and selection of tools.
  • Offer ongoing technical support for video endpoints and underlying infrastructure, including troubleshooting and resolving issues ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Proactively monitor and maintain video endpoints and infrastructure, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operation.
  • Primary owner of the Video infrastructure and the A/V infrastructure – Including AV tech in high profile rooms, auditorium, boardroom, immersive telepresence room, and training room.
  • Participate in and/or lead projects of low to medium complexity.
  • Lead on-call production support activities, using the technical knowledge and capability to handle all problems that may arise.
  • Proactively puts procedures in place to prevent and reduce the severity of outages.
  • Conducts updates of management information systems, including asset management, time tracking and other systems.
  • Available to be on call 24/7 on a team rotating schedule once assimilated into the team.
  • Ensure seamless audio/visual support for executive meetings involving presentation, video conferencing and remote attendees.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
