ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Lead - Video Engineering to join our team for a program that supports a variety of customer IT requirements with a focus on providing productive and collaborative workspace to support dynamic mission requirements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performs a variety of complex network engineering tasks of an analysis, design, or test nature requiring strong technical skills. Design, develop and implement technical solutions in line with project requirements and organizational goals. Plans research and development, or installation of products and systems in conformance with network engineering design and customer specification. Ensure best practices in engineering processes, coding standards, and testing protocols. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, implementing innovative solutions where appropriate. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, and reports. Solves engineering challenges by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment, and following industry best practice in adherence with customer policies. Lead or participate in the following activities: Design Review Boards Technical code reviews Engineering Services and Implementation Support Network Engineering Designs Network Engineering Template Development Network Implementation Standard Operations Procedures Project Estimation Basic Qualifications: Ability to build and maintain constructive relationships among customers, stakeholders, technical teams, across the customer base. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Ability to assess customer needs, meet quality standards for services, and evaluate customer satisfaction. Demonstrated problem solving skills. Proficiency in many aspects of information technology. Exceptional customer service skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in the use of MS Office product suite. Willingness to travel in the WMA as needed. BA/BS and five (5) years of experience, or a combination of education and work experience equivalent to 10 years. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field Ten (10) years’ experience directly related to Network Engineering design, delivery, and management of the customer’s operational environment. Proven experience in a technical lead or senior engineering role. Strong expertise in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges. Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles. Relevant certifications in technical and managerial skills are a plus. Security Clearance Requirements: Active and current TS/SCI with polygraph. Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%. Must be able to move/traverse within and between buildings and offices. Must be able to position self to maintain computers, including under the desks and in the server closet. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. Must be able to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers; must be able to exchange accurate information. Resolving technical problems and answering queries by telephone or self-service that involve computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems.
