ABOUT THE TEAM The Senior Negotiator role will report into the Supervisor position and will be a part of the National Video Investment Team. This team works collectively to ensure that we have a thorough understanding of and a pulse on the media landscape, make smart investments with media partners, negotiating mutually favorable terms, and plan and execute client media buys that best deliver on their business and marketing objectives. Responsibilities The expectations for this role fall into 3 key categories: Developing Teams & Talent Understand roles and responsibilities within the team. Contribute to training of junior members on their team Reviews and supports goals of junior team members Delivering on Our Value Proposition Participate in meetings with partners. Understands partner portfolio offerings and can identify opportunities for clients Participate in negotiations for assigned clients and campaigns. Deliver best in class client service Managing Business & Operations Participate in strategy development for client campaigns across national linear and CTV media channels Review and negotiate media plans to ensure we are delivering against client KPIs, while driving revenue Manage campaign activation; including buy entry, make good/ADU management, pacing reports, liaison with traffic team Manage post-campaign audit and posts, including compiling post materials and executing system pulls with accuracy Can execute process with some oversight and high degree of accuracy. Manage billing process including invoice reconciliation and billing approvals Establish expectations through clear communication with client and vendor. Contribute to data input across various tools. Proficient in MS Office Suite, OX/Prisma, Salesforce, etc. Keeps Salesforce up to date for assigned accounts. Qualifications TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS We value diversity of thought and experiences at APEX! If you learned about media from the sales or agency side, that’s great but we do need folks with basic level of understanding of how media investment works. 3-5 years of experience with strong knowledge of media is critical for success in this role Diverse backgrounds and experience are welcome including Agency Planning/Investment, Media Sales, Consulting and/or Media Client Side Basic knowledge of Salesforce and MS Office Suite (must be proficient in Excel) Strong media financial acumen is mandatory Business financial acumen is preferred Basic understanding of the media landscape SOFT SKILL REQUIREMENTS Technical skills are a point of entry for the roles at APEX but we’re looking for exceptional talent with high emotional intelligence and soft skills that drives our culture. Compensation Range: $59,850.00 - $90,620.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
