Steel City Brand is hiring: Visual Director in Pittsburgh

We’re looking for someone with style. This person would collaborate with the Creative Director and Marketing Team to elevate the apparel we're creating. Looking for someone who's worked in apparel at a similar brand, understands fabrications and fits and can visually translate creative ideas into cohesive and compelling apparel. This person would manage all visual creative components around apparel. We are not looking for a graphic designer, so please read the requirements below before applying.

• Oversee the look and feel of the brand
• Execute the brand guide for a cohesive voice across all platforms
• Work within deadlines without compromising quality of deliverables
• Think with innovation to consistently ideate and execute on fresh concepts that are captivating and relevant within the competitive landscape
• Create mood boards and creative briefs with clear deliverables
• Create looks with the apparel offerings, creating cohesive outfits to tell the story for the season 

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in visual art direction for an apparel brand
• Previous creative team management preferred
• Portfolio that showcases a strong personal style

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and collaboratively 
• Versatile, out-of-the-box thinker
• Able to provide art direction for all components of an apparel brand
• Organized, detail oriented, capable of managing time effectively
• Must be able to visually communicate style 

This is a part time (5-10 hours/week) remote position.
