The Role As part of the Digital Marketing team, you will be the technical point of contact for Proofpoint’s websites and digital assets. This job entails working closely with all aspects of marketing as well as teams in the broader Proofpoint organization. The right candidate will be a self-starter and highly motivated. This is a hands-on role that requires someone with thorough understanding of the latest web development practices, a keen eye for web design and a solid comprehension of digital marketing Your day-to- day Take technical ownership of Proofpoint’s corporate website and international sites Create landing pages and update website content to support company-wide initiatives. Develop javascript-based A/B tests of web content to maximize traffic conversion. Implement analytical tags throughout the website. Experience with tag managers required. Collaborate with 3rd party agencies for large web development efforts. Ensure that all coding is implemented in a timely manner, while ensuring a very high-quality look and feel / aesthetic to support all of our interactive and product launches (adhering to corporate branding / style guidelines). Liaise with key business and technology teams (understanding our business and marketing goals) to ensure stylized, integrated, and aligned solutions are created. What you bring to the team 5+ years of relevant experience being an innovative Web producer, Web manager or Webmaster. 5+ years of hands on experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript. PHP and Twitter Bootstrap experience a plus. In-depth experience developing with content management systems (Drupal, Wordpress, etc). Experience with Marketo (or other marketing automation platforms) and Salesforce required. Familiarity and comfort with developing in a Git workflow. Experience using Adobe Creative Suite applications including Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator. Extensive familiarity with SEO best practices. Successful track record interfacing and communicating effectively across cross-functional teams (business and technology), with a proven ability to translate business needs in to polished Web and graphic design solutions. Good knowledge of user experience, site usability requirements, and an overall great design sense. Strong time management and organizational skills. Attention to detail is absolutely critical.
