This role is hybrid and based 20 minutes north of Seattle.

Responsibilities may include

Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts and user flows. These tools help communicate ideas effectively to stakeholders and guide the development process.

Visual Design: Develop visually appealing designs that align with brand guidelines and enhance user engagement. This includes selecting color schemes, typography, and imagery that contribute to a cohesive and attractive interface.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design concepts are feasible and align with project goals. Provide design specifications and support during the implementation phase.

Usability Testing and Iteration: Conduct usability tests to evaluate the effectiveness of designs and gather feedback from users. Use this feedback to iterate on designs, making necessary adjustments to improve overall user experience and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Design Tools: Strong skills in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Sketch, Figma, or InVision are essential for creating wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs.

Understanding of User-Centered Design Principles: A solid grasp of user-centered design methodologies, usability testing, and accessibility standards is crucial for creating effective and inclusive user experiences.

Experience with Front-End Technologies: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous, as it helps designers understand the technical constraints and possibilities when collaborating with developers.

Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in web design, graphic design, human-computer interaction, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in UX design or web development will also be considered.
