Our client in the technology industry is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the ASE Documentation team supporting various departments. The ideal candidate will have excellent collaboration skills, the ability to understand complex software, and experience managing documentation projects.

Job Title: Technical Writer
Location: Austin, TX (Remote)
Pay Range: Based on experience
What's the Job?
- Create content for engineering, QA, UI design, customer support, and external developers
- Produce task-oriented user documentation, systems architectures, API documentation, and UX writing
- Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts and peers on the documentation team
- Plan and manage documentation projects with shifting requirements and goals
- Edit the work of other writers
What's Needed?
- BS/BA degree required in English, Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Writing, or other related degree
- More than three years of technical writing experience documenting complex applications, or a degree in Technical Communication
- Experience with Markdown and GitHub
- Experience with macOS and standard macOS software
- Demonstrate an ability to create well-written, structured, detailed specifications that incorporate feedback
