SEEKING A STRONG TECHNICAL WRITER FOR A CONTRACT ROLE!!!
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Writer to join our team for a key project involving the implementation of two new isolation lines equipped with high-speed fillers. This role is integral to the successful transfer and customization of existing procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) from an external facility to our Shirley site. The project is expected to last approximately six months, with a possibility of extension based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Review, adapt, and customize 17 existing procedures/SOPs for implementation at the site
+ Collaborate closely with the project management team and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accurate information is captured and conveyed.
+ Utilize Veeva electronic documentation systems for writing, editing, and managing documentation.
+ Ensure that all documentation adheres to industry standards and regulatory requirements, including FDA guidelines as applicable.
+ Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather information, clarify technical content, and validate procedural accuracy.
+ Maintain comprehensive records of revisions and ensure all documents are up to date and accessible.
+ Provide training and support to end-users on new procedures, as needed.
+ Participate in project meetings to provide documentation updates and address any writing-related concerns.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelors degree in English, Technical Communication, Life Sciences, or a related field.
+ Previous experience in technical writing, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
+ Familiarity with Veeva or similar electronic documentation systems.
+ Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
