3 month contract with probable extensions

Pay Rate: $50-$60/hr.

Hybrid role: 1-2 days in the Greeley office, rest of the week remote.

Required Skills & Experience

- Oil & gas or similar industry experience (construction, industrial manufacturing, etc.)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of Technical Writing experience

- Familiarity with SOPs & quick reference guides (or similar)

- Proven experience combining documents with separate language, diagrams and information into one with standardized language and visuals

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Technical Writer to join an industry leading oil and gas client in Greeley, CO. This individual will be supporting the LDAR & Drone group within the larger Reliability & Maintenance team by combining their current SOPs and Quick Reference Guides into one standardized playbook that will include standard processes, roles & responsibilities, resources, etc. The goal is for this playbook to create a legacy that can last no matter what managers/personnel leave. This contract will start out as a 3 month duration focusing on the Drone & LDAR group and if performance is good, this person has the opportunity to be extended to do the same thing for 3-5 other groups within the Maintenance & Reliability team, and potentially other teams throughout the business unit (opportunity to be extended for 1 year+). This person will need to be on-site 1-2 times per week in Greeley, CO and the hourly pay range is $50-60/hour.
