About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Content Writer and Coordinator to join our team and be the voice of our organisation. In this role, you will craft compelling narratives that resonate with our diverse audience and effectively communicate our mission and impact within the aged care sector.
As a master storyteller, you will immerse yourself in the world of aged care, translating complex information into engaging content for various platforms. Your primary focus will be producing high-quality written materials, with an emphasis on impactful copywriting and speechwriting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Excel at copywriting: Produce high-quality written materials with a strong emphasis on persuasive and engaging copy. This includes CEO speeches, talking points, media profile pieces like Op Eds, and a range of marketing materials including brochures, website content, facility newsletters, our bi-annual magazine ‘Southern Star’, advertisements, and marketing emails that drive audience engagement and action.
- Master the art of storytelling: Develop compelling narratives that showcase the positive impact of our organisation on individuals, families, the industry, and the community.
- Write for different channels: Adapt your writing style and tone to suit various platforms, ensuring consistency and clarity across all communications.
- Maintain high standards: Proofread and edit all copy with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Develop and implement content strategies: Contribute to the creation of content plans that align with our marketing and communications objectives, as well as our organisational and CEO profile-building strategies.
- Produce a wide range of content: Write compelling copy for various formats, including publications (annual reports, consumer magazines, newsletters), executive communications (speeches, presentations, media briefs), and marketing materials (website content, social media copy, video scripts, grant and award applications).
- Conduct thorough research: Gather information through interviews, case studies, and industry publications to inform your writing and ensure accuracy.
- Manage projects effectively: Oversee the production of publications and content, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience as a copywriter and content creator, with a portfolio showcasing exceptional writing skills across diverse formats.
- A genuine desire to connect with audiences on an emotional level and bring stories to life through your writing.
- Ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders and effectively collaborate with the Executive team.
- Meticulous approach to your work, ensuring accuracy and high quality in every piece of content.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
