UI DEVELOPER Job at Droisys in San Francisco

We’re looking for a versatile senior UI developer, who will create Web UI for a new eCommerce platform for one of the largest US retailers. This is an excellent opportunity to become a key contributor to the project, design the frontend architecture and continuously improve web UI.

Requirements

1. 5+ years’ experience in building web applications using the latest standards based approaches (HTML5, CSS3, PHP, AJAX, Sprint MVC)
2. Demonstrable knowledge of Semantic HTML markup
3. Experience with server side technologies like JSP, Java, and Java Servlets (or similar server generation technologies)
4. Able to effectively communicate across teams and roles
5. Excellent verbal and written communications
6. A self-starter who is passionate about building world-class Frontend applications
7. Ability to work seamlessly in a cross functional team development environment

Preferred/Optional Skills

1. Understanding of implementing responsive design techniques
2. Knowledge of what is required to develop high performance web applications
3. Good sense of what is required of a great user interface
