Sr. UI Architect (Onsite)

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified architect with experience in cost, schedule, risk and stakeholder management, developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. Responsibilities:

• This role will require deep hands-on expertise and leadership skills to help drive alignment & consistency across assurance product teams.
• Encourage continuous improvement in our Front-end development work.
• Work closely with the Motif team to ensure the needs of assurance products are clear to them.
• Be able to understand the impact it can have on Assurance based products and work a little bit with all Front-end Developers across Assurance portfolio of products.
• Looking for someone in the US (Alpharetta).

Qualifications:

• Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience.
• Exceptional communication abilities and skills for effectively communicating with customers.
• Team Manager who can articulate communication between various teams (UX, XD, VD, Front end and Full stack Dev teams).
• Experience handling / leading multiple teams.
• Experience in Web Application development with large/internet scale consumption (distributed, scalable, and high-volume systems). Particularly BFS Clients.
• Sr Architect level hands-on expertise in front end / UI technologies including frameworks such as React JS, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, LESS/SASS.
• Proficiency in Web/Mobile/Responsive UIs, NodeJS.
• Solid understanding Webpack or Vite, GraphQL.
• Good understanding of HTTP headers and user agents.
• Familiar with DevOps, Agile/Scrum.
• Keen understanding of Application, Infrastructure, and resilience.
• Experience with software and product development lifecycle (incl. coding, coding standards and reviews, source control, testing, debugging, build, deployment and operations).
• Knowledge of Visual Studio, Accessibility and WCAG 2.1 standards.

Salary and compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $102,600K - $162,500K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
