As we elevate our mobile app and online banking platforms—leveraging Salesforce and Google Cloud technologies—we are seeking a talented developer to join our dynamic IT team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our digital banking experience, focusing on integrating data and services into our mobile applications and delivering an exceptional user interface that delights our customers. We are looking for an experienced React Native developer with a strong focus on UI/UX and mobile application integrations. The ideal candidate will excel in implementing design systems using frameworks like Google's Material Design (Material IO) and adapting components to meet our specific banking requirements. You will collaborate closely with our existing Salesforce team, including a Senior Salesforce Developer and Salesforce Administrator, as well as our Information Security resource and CIO/Lead Architect. Your primary responsibility will be to connect data and integrations to the user experience, ensuring seamless functionality and an elevated interface across our mobile and online platforms.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and enhance features for our mobile app and online banking platforms using React Native.
- Implement UI components that align with design frameworks like Google's Material Design (Material IO) and adapt them to our specific needs.
- Ensure consistency and excellence in UI components across all platforms.
- Data Integration & API Management:
- Integrate real-time APIs from various enterprise partners into our mobile applications.
- Work closely with backend teams to consume APIs and ensure efficient data flow.
- Collaborate with the Senior Salesforce Developer to integrate Salesforce data into the mobile experience.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces.
- Adapt and implement custom design frameworks to align with our branding and user experience goals.
- Focus on delivering an elevated UI experience that delights our customers.
- Work closely with the Salesforce team, Information Security resource, and CIO/Lead Architect to ensure cohesive integration of services.
- Coordinate with the Salesforce Administrator for any configuration needs related to mobile integrations.
- Participate in design and code reviews to maintain high standards of quality.
- Implement single sign-on (SSO) and authentication solutions using OIDC and OAuth protocols.
- Ensure that all integrations and data exchanges comply with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to mobile development and UI/UX.
- Propose and implement enhancements to improve application performance and user experience.
- Contribute to improving development processes and best practices within the team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mobile application development using React Native.
- Strong experience in integrating APIs and services into mobile applications.
- Experience implementing design systems, particularly Google's Material Design (Material IO).
- Familiarity with consuming data from Salesforce.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React Native, and related front-end technologies.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, OIDC, OAuth, and web services.
- Experience with mobile app deployment processes for iOS and Android platforms.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, NPM) and collaborative development workflows.
- UI/UX Skills:
- Strong eye for design and attention to detail.
- Experience working with design teams and implementing UI/UX best practices.
- Ability to adapt and customize design frameworks to meet specific requirements.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
