Check out our other brands: levoit.com | cosori.com | etekcity.com The Opportunity: We are seeking a Senior UX Researcher to join our team and drive user-centered innovation across our app, connected hardware, and wearable products. This role demands a strategic thinker with expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, capable of guiding the product development process from ideation through to delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Lead Research Initiatives: Oversee complex, fast-paced research initiatives that require working through ambiguity and working with agility. Design and execute learning plans to gather user insights from early concept phases through to product release. Apply suitable methodologies tailored to each phase of the product lifecycle. • Analyze and Interpret Data: Analyze data to provide clear, actionable recommendations. Translate research findings into strategic insights that inform and guide product development and direction. • Present Research Findings: Develop and present clear, compelling reports on user trends, pain points, and opportunities to stakeholders across teams. • Collaborate with Teams: Work effectively with cross-functional domestic and international teams, such as product managers and marketing, to align on user-centered goals and ensure project success with clear communication, managed expectations, and cultural sensitivity. • Advocate for Users: Maintain a user-centric perspective while balancing user needs with business goals, ensuring that user advocacy is embedded in all stages of product development. • Enhance Research Practices: Continuously refine research methodologies and promote best practices. Ensure all research activities adhere to ethical standards and deliver high-quality results. • Manage Research Repository: Oversee the development and maintenance of the research repository, ensuring insights are organized and accessible to cross-functional teams. Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and effective data management. • Foster a Culture of Research Excellence: Contribute to the development of user research within the UXR team and broadly across the company. Mentor and guide junior and mid-level researchers, helping to grow the research practice while advocating for user-centered thinking at all organizational levels. Qualifications • Experience: At least 4 years in UX research or a related field with a strong background in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. A Master's degree is highly preferred. Relevant fields include but are not limited to: Product Design, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, Statistics is highly preferred. • Expertise: Proven ability to lead end-to-end research initiatives. Independently craft and execute timely research plans, translating research findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations. • Technical Skills: Proficient in research tools such as UserTesting.com and Quantilope or similar. Advanced skills in data analysis, including Excel (e.g., pivot tables) and familiarity in statistical analysis methods and programs (R, JMP, etc.) • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to present complex information clearly and effectively. • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Analytical Skills: High analytical capability with a proactive and inquisitive mindset. Ability to enhance product design thinking based on user feedback. • Industry Knowledge: Experience with hardware, connected products, and/or wearables is preferred. A background in the health, wellness, and/or consumer goods industry is a plus. • Personal Attributes: High level of curiosity, personal responsibility, and a positive attitude to navigate fast-paced, ambiguous, high-growth environments. Strong storytelling skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences. Location: This is an on-site, office-based role in Tustin, CA.
