Your Role:
This position can be in St. Louis, MO, Burlington, MA, or remote.
As a Senior User Experience Designer at MilliporeSigma you'll be at the front line of innovation and technology, helping to bring ideas from concept to implementation for our ecommerce platform. The Senior User Experience Designer is an analytical problem solver that can synthesize user research and business requirements into intuitive design solutions that deliver a compelling user experience to our customers balanced with an understanding of our business goals. This individual will be responsible for the delvering strategic design and taking a lead role in driving the implementation of projects. Designers work as part of the user experience team in a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Translating business and user requirements into design solutions for end-users and other stakeholders
Proposing pragmatic solutions that are consistent with industry best practices and user expectations, while balancing technical, data and schedule constraints
Collecting and analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data to make design decisions based on test results and usability standards/best practices
Prototyping applications on paper and within Figma
Working closely with development teams and product owners
Work co-located with other designers and associates
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, Information Technology, or other Computer Science discipline
OR High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years of design work experience
5+ years of experience applying UCD principles
5+ years of demonstrated experience with UX deliverables
3+ years of experience designing for responsive web and mobile apps
3+ years of experience with Adobe products including XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
2+ years of experience working with Figma
Preferred Qualifications : eCommerce expertise
Life Science industry experience
Experience with web development technologies
Experience conducting usability testing
Project management experience
Experience utilizing data and having a data driven approach
Experience collaborating with UX research
Pay Range for this position - $78,900 - $118,300
Our ranges incorporate all levels and career types available within this specific role, and are derived from relevant industry market data.
