As the Growth Acquisition UX Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of CookUnity's growth by designing, testing, and optimizing the end-to-end user journey—from landing pages through sign-ups to conversion. You'll collaborate closely with growth marketing, product, and engineering teams to build high-converting acquisition flows that take our user experience design to the next phase of growth. Your work will directly influence how we engage new users, minimize drop-offs, and drive scalable growth.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where your contributions will fuel our growth strategy, working in tandem with cross-functional teams to align design decisions with business objectives. You'll have the creative freedom to innovate, while leveraging data-driven insights to iterate on user flows, constantly refining the balance between friction and ease. Your passion for both the creative and technical aspects of the user journey will be key in helping us deliver meaningful, conversion-driven experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Optimize User Journeys: Design and refine user acquisition experiences (e.g., landing pages, sign-up flows, checkout processes) to improve conversion rates across digital platforms.
- Friction vs. Ease Analysis: Continuously analyze where to add or remove friction in the user flow to achieve the optimal balance that maximizes both user intent and action.
- Performance Focused Design: Create conversion-optimized experiences using A/B testing and multivariate testing to continually improve design performance metrics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Growth, Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to ensure seamless integration of creative solutions that align with the overall acquisition strategy.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions, with a focus on increasing conversion, minimizing churn, and improving overall user engagement.
- User Behavior Insights: Leverage analytics tools to understand user behaviors and identify opportunities for improving acquisition flows, reducing bounce rates, and increasing lifetime value.
- Iterative Design Approach: Rapidly prototype and test design hypotheses to identify high-impact solutions that enhance acquisition efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Stay Current: Keep up with the latest UX/UI, CRO, and performance marketing trends, ensuring that designs remain cutting-edge and competitive.
- 8+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on growth, acquisition, or conversion optimization.
- Proven track record of designing high-conversion user journeys, preferably for subscription or e-commerce businesses.
- Proven experience working in cross-functional teams, especially with growth marketing, product, and engineering.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user acquisition designs, conversion optimization projects, and data-driven design decisions.
- Expertise in balancing user flow friction and ease, with a strong ability to drive meaningful performance improvements.
- Expertise in using design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite) and prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Axure).
- Experience with A/B testing, user testing, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SiteSpect, Mixpanel) to inform design decisions.
- Deep understanding of user experience principles, interaction design, and user research methodologies.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a track record of influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus but not required.
- Experience working within growth or acquisition teams.

- Experience in optimizing landing pages and acquisition flows for both mobile and desktop platforms.
- Opportunity to make a direct impact on the company's growth and performance.

- Access to cutting-edge tools, platforms, and technology.
