About the team:
The FIS Platform team's vision is to enable developers to access a full suite of financial capabilities and build their own applications through low- and no-code experiences. We operate like an incubated startup within FIS, with the full support of the company and a mandate to create a world-class embedded finance platform. Our fast-paced and fun group strongly believes in putting the user first and setting a high bar for everything we ship.
Our team is seeking a Senior Designer to play a vital role in shaping the future of banking experiences for millions of consumers. This is a senior-level position within our new design group, focusing on creating embedded banking experiences from the ground up and modernizing existing SaaS banking products using the latest technologies. In this role, you will be involved in developing and expanding our unified design system, which serves as the foundation for our Atelio platform. Additionally, you will help establish and promote a strong design culture, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and other teams to successfully launch high-quality products for our clients and their customers.
What you will be doing:
- Leverage customer insights to define the requirements of end-to-end product experiences and features.
- Design product experiences for a mix of developer, mobile, and SaaS products.
- Lead design sprints and design planning processes to create exceptional user experiences.
- Work closely with engineering throughout the product lifecycle, from initial planning phases to final designs to launch.
- Develop and maintain design systems that can be applied across a broad suite of financial software products.
- Be a part of a cultural shift toward a design-forward environment by establishing and implementing design-oriented mechanisms.
What you will need:
- 5+ years as a product designer at a consumer or enterprise technology company.
- Strong understanding of design principles, user experience, and usability best practices.
- Experience working closely with product and engineering to ship and iterate on customer-facing products.
- Thorough knowledge of UX research approaches and methodologies.
- Familiarity with modern developer platforms and ecosystems.
- Proven ability to turn research results into product designs.
- Ability to influence a range of audiences and manage multiple projects concurrently.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $136,190.00 - $228,790.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
