Overview

For the majority of 2024, ClosedLoop has been developing a new, not-yet-launched, consumer product aimed at helping people navigate their health, built on top of generative AI.

We are hiring an experienced Growth Marketer to lead user acquisition and drive the growth strategies essential to our mission of transforming healthcare and improving lives through AI.

Our ideal candidate is someone who has:
  • A strong growth marketing foundation with a track record of acquiring and retaining users, and driving engagement for mobile apps or digital products.
  • Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end skills in planning, execution, measurement, and optimization.
  • Expertise in data and performance tracking and analysis, using data to guide decisions, improve conversion rates, and optimizing marketing channels.
  • Hands-on experience and aptitude executing on multichannel marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, ASO, paid media, social, and email, with a deep understanding of user acquisition and lifecycle marketing.
  • A test-and-learn mentality, experienced in setting up and running A/B tests and growth experiments to maximize results.
  • In-depth knowledge of consumer behavior and segmentation, especially within health and wellness and or healthcare, to design personalized and impactful user journeys.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and find new ways to reach and engage target audiences.
  • A collaborative mindset, able to work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Engineering to align growth initiatives with product and business goals.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude, comfortable navigating a fast-paced, startup environment and adaptable to change.
You bring a wealth of experience from previous jobs while partnering closely with the Heads of Marketing and Product, and with other senior leaders to deliver against the roadmap for the company's GenAI marketing strategy.

Key elements of the role:
  • User Acquisition and Activation: Develop and implement strategies to drive app downloads, user sign-ups, and initial engagement with the product.
  • Growth Experimentation: Design and execute A/B tests and experiments to identify high-impact growth opportunities across marketing channels.
  • Retention and Re-engagement Campaigns: Build and manage campaigns aimed at increasing user retention and re-engagement to foster loyalty and ongoing usage.
  • Marketing Analytics and Reporting: Regularly analyze marketing performance data, creating insights that inform strategies and highlight areas for optimization.
  • Budget Allocation and Optimization: Strategically allocate marketing resources across channels, optimizing for maximum ROI while managing the overall budget.
  • Collaborative Strategy Development: Work closely with Product, Sales, and Engineering teams to ensure growth initiatives align with product developments and user needs.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging platforms to stay ahead and refine growth tactics.
  • Customer-Centric Messaging and Positioning: Craft compelling, user-focused messages that resonate with the target audience and enhance user acquisition efforts.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus but not required).
  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing or user acquisition, ideally within tech, mobile apps, health and wellness sectors.
  • Proven track record in scaling consumer user acquisition and engagement for digital products or apps, with measurable success in achieving growth goals.
  • Hands-on experience with multichannel marketing campaigns across SEO, SEM, ASO, paid social, content marketing, and email marketing.
  • Expert-level skills with data-driven decision-making and experience using tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, App Store Connect, Google Play, Reddit, Facebook, Pinterest, or similar for tracking performance and optimizing campaigns.
  • Expertise in paid and organic strategies across multiple social channels, including Facebook, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, etc.
  • Experience with A/B testing frameworks and growth experimentation, with a test-and-learn approach to optimizing strategies.
  • Familiarity with consumer behavior and user segmentation within the healthcare or technology industry is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams (Product, Engineering, Sales) to align growth initiatives with broader product and business objectives.
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Experience in the health and wellness, healthcare or health-tech industry, with knowledge of HIPAA compliance and regulations around digital health marketing.
  • Proficiency in advanced analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, data.ai, Sensor Tower, SQL, etc.) to dig deeper into user data and provide more sophisticated insights.
  • Experience with growth hacking tools such as Optimizely, VWO, or Crazy Egg for deeper experimentation and optimization.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles to collaborate effectively with design teams and optimize user flows and onboarding processes.
  • Background in product marketing to assist in developing go-to-market strategies and aligning product features with user needs.
  • Familiarity with lifecycle marketing and automation tools like Braze, HubSpot, or Marketo to enhance retention and re-engagement efforts.
  • Knowledge of mobile app marketing platforms (e.g., Appsflyer, Branch, Adjust) to measure and optimize app-specific growth metrics.
  • Experience in community building or user advocacy to foster a loyal user base and drive organic growth through brand ambassadors or user communities.
