Responsibilities

Business Development: Identify and pursue potential clients by leveraging existing networks and exploring new markets to grow the commercial insurance portfolio.

Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing expert advice on suitable products.

Policy Sales: Proactively sell commercial insurance policies by assessing client requirements and recommending tailored solutions.

Market Research: Stay informed about the latest industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to provide competitive and informed solutions to clients.

Negotiation: Negotiate terms and contracts with clients and underwriters, ensuring optimal coverage and rates are achieved.

Documentation: Ensure all insurance documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner, maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations.


Requirements

Licensing: Must possess a valid California Property & Casualty License.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial insurance sales is essential.

Industry Knowledge: Should have a solid understanding of insurance products and services in the commercial sector.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insurance solutions effectively.
