Insurance Commercial Lines Account Manager

Our Agency is growing and seeking an exceptional individual with proven discipline, and commitment to join our team as a Commercial Client Account Manager. Our clients include businesses in a variety of industries from food trucks to commercial rental properties. The Account Manager is responsible for retention and client relationship management.
The successful candidate will service a comprehensive book of business that includes all lines of property and casualty to both new and existing clients. Ideal candidates must possess commercial lines experience, superior customer service skills, computer proficiency, and must also be extremely detail oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently.

Job Duties:
• Maintains excellent communication with team, internal and external clients at all stages of account cycle
• Follows agency procedures for renewal workflow and timeline, encompassing internal meetings, gathering of information, preparation of submissions, identification of markets, following up for and comparing quotes, preparing proposals, presentation and post binding activity and documentation.
• Prompt response to all client requests including expedited requests for policy documentation, such as certificates, ID cards, etc.
• Maintains excellent communication with team, internal and external clients at all stages of account cycle.
• Provides sound recommendations and guidance to clients on insurance programs.
• Preparation of new business proposals and account summaries
• Handle incoming new business sales calls or walk-in business as needed
• Cross-sell or account rounding as needed ensuring clients have appropriate coverage
Job Experience/Qualifications:
• Minimum 1-3 years Independent Agency experience with current Property & Casualty license is required
• Knowledge of all lines of commercial insurance
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and perform multiple tasks in a complex working environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new software, systems, etc.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Proficiency with insurance carrier servicing tools (HawkSoft)
PERKS OF THE JOB:
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
