**Amentum** is seeking a **Radio Technician** located in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The Radio Technician ensures that equipment on site is operational and available.


**Job Responsibilities:**


+ Maintain Base two-way radios.


+ Monitor performance of Base radio equipment to ensure operational status at 100 percentavailability.


+ Coordinate the return and repair of defective two-way radios.


+ Serve as the primary point of contact for the procurement of new radio hardware. Maintain anup-to-date inventory of all Base radio assets


+ Maintain, repair, move, relocated, and install new and existing communication equipment.


+ Perform routine and emergency repairs to support the USGs mission in a timely manner.


+ Be flexible and available to provide system or equipment repairs at any given hour or day.


+ Program new radios, ensuring correct programs are used for a diverse radio user population.


+ Issue and recover radios to support customer requirements.


+ Perform configuration and management of virtual networks, servers and virtual workstations.


+ Implement administration, troubleshooting, patching, and support of virtual infrastructure.


+ Coordinate with the USG for all planned system outages.


**Minimum Requirements:**


+ High School Diploma or equivalent.


+ Valid Drivers License


+ Minimum 3 years demonstrated business administration experience.


+ Excellent written and oral skills


+ Working knowledge of resources (financial) planning, budget, and billing execution.


+ Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems.


+ US Citizen or Naturalized Citizen


+ Active government issued clearance at time of application
