Wilkes University invites applicants for the General Manager of student radio station 90.7 WCLH in the Department of Communication and Media Studies. The high-profile Department of Communication and Media Studies serves approximately forty undergraduates in the areas of Media Documentary & Production, Public Relations & Professional Communication, News & Sports Reporting, and Media & Cultural Studies..

The successful candidate is responsible for overseeing daily station operations, managing student air personalities and staff, budgeting, and assisting with instruction of audio classes. A bachelor's degree in communications or a related field and five years of professional radio experience are required. The ideal candidate will have radio management experience, a thorough knowledge of FCC rules and regulations, knowledge of industry standard equipment, and a basic knowledge of broadcast programming. This is a part-time, 20 hour/week position. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
