Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, including the Department of Defense. We are seeking a Senior Radio Frequency Engineer to support our customers operations in San Diego, CA. This effort provides our Government customer with multiple types of engineering services in support of data technology development. This position will be on-site and will require an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct data analyses, to include interpreting and summarizing results
- Design, develop, test, evaluate, and sustain various Radio Frequency (RF) and Tactical Data Link (TDL) communication systems
- Develop technical documentation such as test plans and reports
- Apply a full range of disciplines pertinent to communication systems capabilities such as requirements analysis, systems engineering, interface design, logistics, training, reliability and maintainability, human factors, and T&E to complete assigned duties
- Leverage principles such as communications theory, modulation systems, engineering design, testing, and system-level communications (e.g. link budgets and modulation schemes and end-to-end RF product development) to complete assigned duties
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
- US Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI
Required Experience:
- 10 years of professional experience with radio frequency engineering
Desired Experience:
- Knowledge of RF devices and/or systems
- Knowledge of electronic test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, Amplifiers, and other Radio Frequency components
- Knowledge of RF Communications systems engineering and/or integration
Education and Certifications:
- Masters degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems)
