As a Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer at BlueHalo, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's system research and development efforts.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Design complex systems and prepare comprehensive project design documentation.
- Design and conduct experiments; analyze and interpret data.
- Assign tasks to and direct engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.
- Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of engineering work and prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
- Assist with proposals to obtain funding for engineering projects or programs.
- Specify, design, analyze, simulate, prototype, build, test, document, and release required systems to manufacturing.
- Organize, plan, track, and resolve design problems associated with product performance in engineering, manufacturing, and the field.
- Provide assistance with system-level architectural design and development of specifications, schedules, and test plans.
- Interface with appropriate departments to ensure design specifications meet regulatory standards.
- Develop product performance testing and incorporate required design changes to address problem resolution.
- Interface with outside vendors as required and collaborate effectively with internal and external team members.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 4+ years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Schematic Capture and PCB layout software.
- Proficient in RF/Microwave component level circuit design (amplifiers, filters, mixers, synthesizers).
- Broad hardware design background including power supplies, analog circuits, digital systems, and interconnect.
- Knowledge in areas of analog to digital and digital to analog conversion, waveform characteristics, communication protocols, and signal processing.
- Experience with EMI/EMC problem-solving.
- Experience with RF/Microwave test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, vector signal analyzers, oscilloscopes).
- Working knowledge of data collection, analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.
- Working knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts, and practices in the applicable area of engineering/technical specialization.
- Possibility of up to 25% travel.
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance.

Salary Range: $120k - $175k
