- Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, the UI/UX Designer is responsible for user interface design projects that bridge the gap between design, business, and technology to help deliver a best-in-class website experience. This position will have the opportunity to drill down into the current UI and UX challenges presented by our current website and create solutions that best serve our users. You will work beside our Senior UI/UX designer to help drive design decisions that enable our digital marketing roadmap and organizational vision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Translate concepts and business requirements into an end-to-end user experience in the form of low-fidelity wireframes or high-fidelity visual comps.
Build interactive prototypes to test and validate ideas and user flows with end users.
Perform iterative UI/UX testing and work closely with user researchers to test different UI concepts.
Incorporate user feedback, measure interactions, and leverage user driven data to improve and enhance our web experience.
Gather and evaluate user requirements and feedback in collaboration with internal teams, including product management, Member experience, and development.
Triage, prioritize and assist in implementing design changes to the TDECU website to support our current strategic initiatives and marketing campaigns.

Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Licensure, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Education:
Bachelor's degree program in the field of design, computer science, information architecture, fine arts desired
Licensure:
Experience:
Two years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, graphic designer, or a similar role
HTML/CSS/JavaScript experience preferred, but not required
Experience with Joomla and SP Page Builder preferred, but not required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Examples of previous design in the form of a portfolio is required
Knowledge of user-centered design, UX methods, UI/UX design, or human subjects research and experimental design
Ability to design low and high-fidelity mockups and wireframes using visual design tools, such as Adobe XD, Illustrator and Photoshop
Highly collaborative and effective in cross-functional environments
Skilled in responsive web design and able to deliver a consistent experience across a variety of browsers and devices
Ability to handle working on multiple projects at the same time
Flexible and able to change approach when necessary to deliver results
Demonstrates a passion for learning, digital experience, and digital marketing

Arrangement Hybrid General: On average, employees in this role report to a designated TDECU office location 1-2 daysper week.
