About The Role:

Intelliguard has an excellent opportunity for a Communications & Brand Manager to join our team in Columbus, Ohio reporting to Director of Downstream Marketing As a Communications & Brand Manager, you will be responsible for leading our communication and branding strategies across public relations, media relations, and internal communications. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic storyteller and brand advocate with expertise in public relations, brand management, and messaging development. This role is central to driving Intelliguard's public profile and ensuring cohesive messaging that reflects our values and mission. The Communications & Brand Manager, reporting to the Director of Downstream Marketing, will work closely with the VP of Marketing, executive team, marketing department, Advisory Board, and key stakeholders to elevate our brand presence internally and externally.

What You'll Be Doing:

Public Relations & Media Management Develop and implement a strategic PR plan to increase brand awareness and drive positive media coverage across healthcare, technology, and industry publications. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, journalists, and influencers to secure targeted, impactful coverage. Serve as the main point of contact for all media inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses to enhance Intelliguard's reputation. Oversee the development and distribution of press releases, media kits, and public statements, ensuring alignment with brand voice and corporate objectives. Identify and pitch compelling story angles to promote Intelliguard's technology, customer success stories, and thought leadership in healthcare technology. Collaborate with external PR agencies to amplify Intelliguard's messaging, manage media outreach efforts, and ensure alignment with brand strategy across initiatives.

Brand Messaging & Positioning Collaborate with marketing and executive leadership to define and refine Intelliguard's brand messaging, ensuring consistency across all communication channels. Manage the creation of brand content including website copy, social media posts, blogs, white papers, and presentations that communicate our mission and value to healthcare partners. Conduct brand audits and market research to assess and adapt messaging, ensuring Intelliguard remains relevant and resonates with stakeholders.

Internal Communications Lead internal communication efforts to keep employees informed and engaged, including company news, mission updates, and achievements. Develop and execute an employee communications strategy to foster alignment with Intelliguard's brand values and objectives. Collaborate with HR and management teams to communicate organizational changes, policy updates, and cultural initiatives effectively. Oversee the development and distribution of internal newsletters, email communications, and event messaging.

Crisis Communications & Reputation Management Prepare and execute communication plans for crisis situations, including coordinating with leadership and providing timely responses that protect and reinforce Intelliguard's reputation. Act as the point person for sensitive issues, monitoring news coverage, and managing messaging to maintain trust and transparency with internal and external audiences.

Thought Leadership & External Engagement Identify and leverage opportunities for thought leadership in the healthcare technology space, positioning Intelliguard as an industry leader. Develop executive communications, including speeches, blog posts, and opinion pieces that reflect Intelliguard's mission and values. Oversee participation in industry conferences, panels, and events to enhance Intelliguard's visibility and engage target audiences.

We Would Love To Her From You, If:

Have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. 5+ years of experience in communications, PR, or branding, preferably in healthcare or technology industries. Proven track record in managing media relations and securing high-impact coverage. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and brand tone. Strong project management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities and work within tight deadlines. Demonstrated experience in internal communications and employee engagement strategies. Ability to work independently, with a proactive approach to building and maintaining relationships. Familiarity with digital marketing, social media platforms, and crisis management strategies. Hybrid

role in Columbus, OH (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) The essential functions of the job are usually performed in an office setting, in an indoor, temperature-controlled environment. While performing the job duties, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods, standing and walking intermittently, reach with hands, arms, talk or hear. The pay range for this role is:

95,000 - 110,000 USD per year (Ohio Office)
