Position Summary
Candidate should be an experienced A/V technician and able to set up and operate A/V equipment for live events.The A/V technician will be responsible for A/V elements during private and major events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium (including Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United) which requires setting up lighting, audio mixing consoles, microphones, video presentations, TVs, and programming of LED screens.
Roles and Responsibilities Set up and operate A/V equipment in meeting and conference spaces at Mercedes-Benz Stadium Work with outside A/V vendors coming into stadium as A/V point of contact Meet with event managers to discuss audio, video, and lighting elements for events Troubleshooting equipment to ensure events run smoothly Aid A/V Manager and Engineering staff in supporting, installing, and maintaining A/V systems Understand the daily flow of A/V equipment throughout the stadium Set up field LED boards for MLS matches Conduct sound, visual and performance quality checks of AV equipment prior to event. Report and document technical issues to Chief Broadcast & A/V Engineer Work with IPTV manager to ensure AV is set for events regarding TVs and LED displays in clubs Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equal Technical Degree in audio and visual engineering Minimum of 3 years' experience in Audio/Visual environment or control room operation Required Skills
Must be 18 years old or older to apply Self-starter, able to work efficiently without direct supervision Be able to work effectively with other departments receiving and communicating instructions via telephone or in-person Be able to read and understand technical materials and event outlines Work holidays and weekends, non-traditional hours Able to deliver best-in-class experience for clients as this a is forward facing role Able to concentrate for long periods of time Excellent troubleshooting skills Familiarity with computers, A/V systems and equipment Positive attitude Must be flexible to accommodate shift changes including extended hours, weekends, and evenings Holds a valid driver's license
