We’re looking for a talented Videographer/Video Editor to join our team! This position focuses on producing high-quality tutorial videos for YouTube and engaging content for social media. If you’re skilled at creating visually appealing, beginner-friendly videos that simplify complex ideas, and you love making content fun and trendy, we’d love to have you on board!

Job Responsibilities

As the Videographer/Video Editor, you will:

• Create High-Quality Tutorial Videos for YouTube: Edit and produce clear, easy-to-follow crochet tutorials that help absolute beginners learn and feel confident.
• Filming: Film tutorials, product showcases, and lifestyle content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook.
• Develop Social Media Content: Create fun and trendy videos optimized for social media platforms, ensuring each piece of content aligns with our brand’s voice.
• Utilize Video Editing Software: Use CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and other editing tools to create polished videos.
• Incorporate Design Elements: Use software like Photoshop and Canva to enhance videos with graphics, titles, and other creative elements.
• Ensure Quality and Simplicity: Maintain high production standards while making sure all content is easy to understand for beginners.
• Plan and Execute: Work closely with the Social Media Manager to strategize and execute content ideas for YouTube and social media platforms.
• Experiment and Innovate: Bring fresh, creative ideas to life, making our tutorials and videos exciting and approachable.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with designers, social media experts, and other creatives to produce cohesive, high-quality content.
• Stay Trendy and Engaging: Keep up with video editing trends and social media best practices to ensure our content remains fun, fresh, and engaging.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in videography, video editing, or a related field.
• Editing Skills: Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar video editing software.
• Design Knowledge: Experience with Photoshop, Canva, and other design tools to enhance video content with engaging graphics and visuals.
• Filming Knowledge: Familiarity with cameras, lighting setups, and basic filming techniques.
• Social Media Expertise: Understanding of social media platforms and what makes video content stand out.
• Focus on Simplicity: Ability to make tutorials easy to follow, especially for beginners, while maintaining professional quality.
• Creative and Trendy: A strong sense of style and knowledge of what’s trending in video editing and social media.
