J&L Marketing is seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join the marketing team. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong background in graphic and web design, particularly in Google Web Designer and HTML for paid advertising. You must excel in a deadline-driven environment, have a keen eye for detail, and maintain consistency with branding requirements and project-specific guidelines.
About the roleThis role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to both graphic and digitally interactive design projects at a senior level. In this full-time, in-office role, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and delivering visually compelling content that effectively communicates our campaign objectives and engages our audience.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and visually appealing designs. Your expertise will lead the design process from concept to execution, ensuring effective conveyance of our messages through various media platforms.
Senior Graphic Designer Key Responsibilities- Graphic & digital design for digital paid advertising across multiple channels, social media content, infographics, e-mail direct marketing, web, print, and video content.
- Create and update ad assets in bulk, ensuring efficiency and consistency across multiple platforms and formats.
- Utilize Google Web Designer and HTML to craft responsive, interactive, and visually compelling designs.
- Comprehend a design brief's requirements/goals and independently deliver on its objectives based on the team’s goals.
- Follow projects through from concept to delivery, ensuring all projects are within the prescribed allocated timeframe and budget unless adjusted by the Marketing Manager.
- Design online content as per teams’ briefing (including gifs, videos, and infographics).
- 5+ years’ experience in a graphic design role (B2C or B2B).
- Strong knowledge and experience with social media marketing channels, Google Display Network, and other e-commerce platforms.
- Very strong creative skills in design and conceptualization with the ability to follow a brief, and provide rationales for your design choices, and present your ideas.
- Expertise in Google Web Designer, HTML, and managing mass updates to ad assets.
- Strong understanding of print production processes, including color management, pre-press, and digital/print asset creation.
- Proficient in print and digital design using Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD – Essential) and other CC would be an advantage, such as Adobe After Effects for video editing.
- Demonstrated skills in Animation, Illustration, Video editing, UI, and experience within e-commerce or online retail/sales is highly regarded.
- Experience with Digital Asset Management Systems is preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and manage/prioritize multiple projects within agreed timelines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible and able to adapt and solve problems in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent with Microsoft Office suites (primarily Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar industry is advantageous.
