For over 30 years, OMR has been a trusted partner for the automotive, healthcare, manufacturing, and (intra-) logistics industries. www.oceaneering.com/omr Position Summary This role ensures that documentation is controlled according to and in alignment with both the company's and customer's requirements, including application of proper templating, population of metadata, and organization of in-progress, released, and archived documentation. Documentation may consist of, but will not be limited to, drawings and documents, including engineering plans, reports, procedures, etc., as well as other contract end-item specifications. Duties & Responsibilities ESSENTIAL •Track required deliverables and coordinate the delivery of technical documentation. •Ability to effectively multitask and manage changing priorities. •Collaborate closely with the Product team, primarily Engineers and Product Owners/Managers, to effectively develop documentation deliverable strategies. •Create, maintain, and develop document templates, workflows, and internal documents. •Demonstrated understanding and expertise of MS Office, SharePoint, and data management software. •Excellent problem-solving ability and analytical skills. •Collaborate with subject matter experts to properly manage and incorporate source information into document deliverables. •Write/review/edit the documentation, according to published department and organizational standards and procedures. •Prepare documentation drafts for review by SMEs and/or peers. •Incorporate all review comments into documents. NON-ESSENTIAL •Provide periodic status reports, as required. •Based on documentation requirements, estimate the level of effort required to complete the task and communicate that to the Engineering. •Create training material, curriculum, and course outlines (as-need basis). •Create simple illustrations and screen captures, as needed. •Familiarity with engineering standards and ISO standards. Qualifications REQUIRED •Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. •3 years' experience in Document Control, Configuration Data Management, or Technical Writing. DESIRED EXPERIENCE •SolidWorks PDM. •Enovia PLM Administration. •Microsoft Word. •Microsoft Excel. •Adobe PDF. •Adobe Frame Maker. •XML. •JIRA.
