As a Senior Copy Editor, you will be a key member of Capital Group's marketing team and support the creation of tailored content for the institutional retirement business. With your investment knowledge and editing talent, you will have responsibility for ensuring accuracy and consistency for white papers, web articles, brochures, emails, social posts and presentations.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- You have at least five years of experience as a copy editor, editor or writer, preferably in asset management, financial services, investment-related companies, financial journalism or some other highly regulated industry.
- You can recommend edits based on knowledge of a target audience, compliance regulations and internal or external style guides, with expertise in copy editing, proofreading and fact-checking across print, email, web and video channels. Your input will ensure accuracy and improve overall tone, clarity and concision.
- You hold a bachelor's degree, preferably in economics, finance, statistics, journalism or a related field.
- You have working knowledge of equities, fixed income, the asset-management industry or are willing to learn about them.
- You work well with writers and designers in a collaborative setting and can manage a steady stream of assignments efficiently.
- You will participate in a broader copy editor community at Capital Group to recommend content development and review improvements.
- You can work from our Los Angeles office three days per week.
Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $76,383-$122,213
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
