Under a little-known Supreme Court ruling, LifeWise empowers communities to provide Bible education for their public school students DURING SCHOOL HOURS. Tens of thousands of public school students attend LifeWise Bible classes each week.

About the Job

We are looking for a gospel-centered, talented filmmaker with a flair for storytelling, technical expertise, and a passion for creating impactful visual content to join our creative team. The contributions of the Editor and Cinematographer will be essential in advancing the LifeWise mission and making a meaningful difference in the community we serve. This full-time position is based at our headquarters in Hilliard, Ohio (just outside of Columbus).

Responsibilities

• Video Shoot Planning and Execution
  • Plan and execute video shoots, ensuring that the vision and objectives are met.
  • Select and set up appropriate equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
  • Capture high-quality video footage that aligns with project goals.

• Video Editing and Post Production
  • Edit video footage to create engaging and compelling stories.
  • Incorporate motion graphics and other visual elements as needed.
  • Color grade footage to match our brand and bring beauty to each shot.
  • Color grade footage to match all the other shots together within each video.
  • Ensure that videos are edited to meet project specifications and deadlines.

• Rich Media Creation
  • Create visually stunning and immersive video content that captivates audiences.
  • Develop graphics and animations.
  • Produce mockups and assets for various projects.

• Event Production
  • Live event video and audio capture, editing, and delivery.

• Video Asset Updates
  • Collaborate with teams to make necessary reshoots and edits to existing video assets.
  • Update and refresh video content as directed.

• Motion Graphics
  • Design and create motion graphics for web and video projects.
  • Enhance videos with dynamic visual elements.

• Event and Conference Video Assets
  • Create new video assets for events and conferences, aligning with the event's theme and objectives.
  • Edit and update existing event and conference videos as needed.

Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith consistent with the LifeWise Statement of Faith
• Cinematography: Proficient in camera operation, composition, and lighting techniques.
• Audio: Ability to capture and edit audio from video shoots and live events.
• Shooting: Ability to capture high-quality video footage in various settings and conditions.
• Editing: Skilled in video editing software. Experience with Davinci Resolve.
• Motion Graphics: Proficiency in creating motion graphics using software like After Effects.
• 3D Graphics: Experience with 3D modeling and animation. Blender experience is a plus.
• Artistry: A creative eye for visual storytelling and aesthetics.
• Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.

Salary and Benefits

• From $50,000 per year
