We're looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join Snap’s Ad Data Infra team, which has the mission to streamline and fortify the backbone of our monetization data processing infrastructure.

What you’ll do:

• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, in a fast-paced, quick-to-market environment.
• Set the strategy, build a roadmap, create measurable goals, and lead your team to deliver.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and be the interface between Monetization engineering and our infrastructure partners.
• Evaluate the technical tradeoffs of major decisions and be a strong technical mentor.
• Hire, grow, and retain high-performing team members.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Background with building high availability and mission-critical systems.
• Experience with leading an engineering team.
• Ability to lead and execute large, complex technical initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience working in software engineering.
• 2+ years of experience managing a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, highly collaborative, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Experience with Ops-heavy systems/products.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Flink, or Google Cloud Dataflow.
• Proficiency in using Google BigQuery.
• Hands-on experience with building solutions on modern data ingestion, processing, and warehousing infrastructure.

Compensation: In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The base salary range for this position is:

• Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): $222,000-$333,000 annually.
• Zone B: $211,000-$316,000 annually.
• Zone C: $189,000-$283,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
